About this product
Grade-8 is the fastener you bury where failure isn’t an option. This assortment packs 410 zinc-plated pieces — hex cap screws, matching hex nuts, and flat and split-lock washers — across the UNC sizes from 1/4-20 up to 1/2-13 that empty out of the truck first.
The medium-carbon alloy steel is heat-treated to a 150,000 psi tensile minimum, then zinc-plated with a clear chromate to slow corrosion in covered applications. Each bolt head carries the six radial marks that let an inspector read the grade at a glance.
It all lives in a latching polypropylene case with labelled, removable bins — drop it in the gang box and stop scavenging for the one bolt you’re short.
